Hurricane Sandy Plans

Today everyone was home as the public schools, colleges and even business places shut down in the Boston area. Even the MBTA shut down by 2pm this afternoon.

We had a tasty home cooked lunch all together, and then broke up to work on our own projects.

Chiquita worked on a crochet project in the morning, and then she moved on to a costume sewing project for the afternoon and evening.

Salvbard  has been working from home and poking at the internet.

I have been crocheting snowflakes and contemplating what to make for dinner.

We have been fortunate so far with just one brief power outage, a tiny trickle of water in the basement walls, a broken shutter, and a few small broken branches on the fruit trees. Happy thoughts to all those affected by the storm.
