An Unoriginal Handspun Hat

Apparently I am drowning my sorrows over the Aran sweater in quick knits from handspun. Today's project was made from the first handspun I ever made on my wheel: a bulky merino/tencel blend.

Yarn: bulky handspun in merino/tencel
Fiber Supplier: Mind's Eye Yarns
Needles: US 10.5/7.5 mm
Pattern: An Unoriginal Hat by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee

Modifications: did an extra set-up row, skipped rows 4, 6, 8, and 10 of the second pattern repeat and completely changed the decreases
