Gore Place

Last weekend Salvbard, Chiquita and I packed up to head to the annual Gore Place Sheepshearing Festival. Apparently this is their 25th anniversary of holding these events.

Chiquita made many faces at the smells of the enclosed sheep. But they are so cute!

And who can resist an alpaca face? I sadly did not manage to convince Salvbard that we could keep a tiny herd of miniature alpaca (at least this year!), but I did take home some lovely white alpaca roving home as a consolation prize to dye and spin.
