Rites of Spring: Gnome Hat Edition

This past weekend I spent in the mountains of Western mass at with a group of several hundred community members. One of the on-going events that happened across the weekend was that the littles in the community were hunting little crocheted hats.

It turns out that the gnomes had put out an alert that there were a bunch of missing hats, and the kids very helpful spent the weekend looking for them high and low. I found myself utterly charmed.
